Expecting Too Much

This is what I’m thinking as I talk to people about my business every day.

A lot of people are getting worked up about each little plan we make. And why? Because they’re hoping for big results.

Me? I don’t like getting all worked up over every little thing, and honestly, I don’t expect much from myself. I don’t even put much faith in the plans I come up with.

But you know what? Because I’m not expecting miracles, I can calmly check out one idea after another without getting too attached. And that’s how our business keeps growing steadily.

Policies are Just Guesses

I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about plans.

If every plan we made automatically led to more business, nobody would be stressing out. But that’s not how it works.

Policies are just ways to test out our ideas. And you know what? Ideas are just guesses.

It’s like playing cards: you flip them over, and if it’s a dud, well, at least now you know. Even if it’s a dud, you’ve learned something.

The more we try, the more we learn about what works and what doesn’t. And bit by bit, we get closer to success.

Growth is About Keeping at It, Not One Big Win

Some people think we should aim for one big success.

But you know what? That’s not how it works for us. We haven’t had any sudden bursts of success.

We just keep steadily growing, month by month.

And you know why? It’s because we’re always checking and adjusting our plans. If something doesn’t work, we try something else.

It’s not glamorous, but it works.

Checking is More Important than Just Doing the Same Thing

Sure, keeping at it is important. But it’s not enough.

You’ve got to keep checking to see if what you’re doing is actually working. Otherwise, you’re just wasting time and energy.

People like to say, “If you keep trying, you’ll succeed eventually.” But that’s not always true.

It’s only when your efforts line up with your goals that you’ll actually get somewhere.

A Failed Plan Means We’ve Learned Something

Even if a plan doesn’t work out, at least we’ve learned something.

We won’t make the same mistake again. And that means we’re moving forward.

So don’t get discouraged when things don’t go as planned. Keep your head up, and you’ll see a way forward.

Just keep taking small steps, and you’ll get where you want to go.
